Santa Veneranda is located in the small village of Agia Paraskevi, a settlement within the Lilianos Community of the Municipality of Minoa Pediada, in the Regional Unit of Heraklion, Crete. The village lies 40 kilometers from the city of Heraklion, in the historic Province of Pediada, at an altitude of 400 meters. It rests at the foothills of Mount Dikti, on the road from Kastelli to Ano Viannos, in the heart of the Cretan countryside.


BY CAR
Via the E75 Highway
Head from Heraklion towards Hersonissos. At the junction for the Lassithi Plateau, exit the E75 and continue toward the next junction leading to Kastelli Pediados.
Via Kazantzakis Avenue – Nea Alikarnassos
From the Alikarnassos interchange, follow the signs toward the Industrial Zone, then continue through Archanes, Peza, and Arkalochori until you reach Kastelli Pediados.
This is a modern, comfortable route along a high-speed road.
Via Knossos Avenue and the Provincial Road Network
Take Knossos Avenue through Agia Irini, Peza, and Apostoloi, arriving at Kastelli.
This is the most scenic route, passing through picturesque villages of the Cretan interior—away from the main traffic arteries.

BY INTERCITY BUS (KTEL)
The intercity bus service offers two daily departures from Heraklion to Kastelli.
The KTEL bus station is located at the corner of Ikarou and Efesou Avenues in Heraklion.
